Steelflex –  Steelflex shutters are designed using state-of-the-art computers to give clear width and height access through external openings. Requiring minimal headroom above the opening, an important factor and major advantage for buildings where, due to structural features, there is restricted space available. Midway work in harmony with the architects during the design process, providing complete and accurate technical product information. SHUTTER CURTAIN Constructed from interlocking pre-galvanised scrolled steel lath. Each alternate lath being complete with pressed steel endlock securely riveted at either end. The curtain would also be complete with a standard pre-galvanised ‘T’ bottom section with interlocking (EPDM) rubber seal. OPERATION The door is arranged for an electric motor unit with manual hand hoisting and lowering facility. The motor unit is complete with an in-built safety drive system. Operating voltage 400V 3 phase IP54 protection 60% duty cycle maintenance free and TUV tested, complying with all current European safety standards.
