General Description
Insulated rolling shutter doors are manufactured in the UK, combining modern construction materials and technology to produce reliable and durable door requiring low maintenance.
Personnel doors are available for both types and these are fitted to full height hinged leaves.
Shutter curtain
The shutter curtain is manufactured from 100mm deep, pre-galvanised interlocking sections, infilled with polystyrene foam insulation, and capped with injection-moulded nylon end lock fittings. Plastisol finish in six standard colours available. (White, Goosewing Grey, Poppy Red, Van Dyke Brown, Aztec Yellow and Ocean Blue). Other Plastisol colours may be specified subject to quantity and availability.
Polyester powder coating in most R.A.L. colours is also available. The various curtain finishes may be mixed to suit specific applications i.e. Plastisol external, galvanized internal and colour banding etc.
Door guides
2mm galvanised cold rolled steel channels welded to 100 x 65 x 3mm slotted fixing angles in galvanised steel. Guide channels are equipped with twin brush seals located within a PVC carrier to internal and external faces. The hardwearing brush seals reduce draughts, operating noise and the need for oil and grease within the side guide channels.

EPDM bottom weather seal and nylon soffit brush seal
Operation
Safedrive direct drive motor, incorporating maintenance free failsafe safety brake within gearbox. TUV certified, complete with built on starter, low volt control circuit, integral travel limit switches, and auxiliary limit switches. Hand chain manual override. IP54 rated drive via a springless maintenance free roller barrel.
