Shutter Curtain

Manufactured from interlocked sections with twin-ribbed faces for rigidity.  Designed to provide a hollow section panel with cfc & hcfc foam thermal infill.  Each panel 100mm profile, specially coated using abrasion resistant white / goosewing grey paint system producing a hard wearing door panel coating.

Endlocks

The curtain when assembled is held in position with purposely designed injection moulded end fittings, manufactured from hard wearing nylon-6.

Bottom Seal

The bottom of the shutter us terminated with a purpose designed extrusion complete with interlocking (EPDM) rubber weather seal.  Incorporating stop and return on impact safety edge.

Barrel

Manufactured from seamless mild steel tube to BS4760 grade 50C.  size to suit door width and height.  Maximum barrel deflection 1:400.  Fitted with precision-machined BDMS axles to BS970 EN33.

Main Support Brackets

The main support brackets for the barrel and motor unit are manufactured from mild steel plates of varying thickness and incorporate the necessary fixing positions for securing back to the opening structure and location of head cover.

Vertical Side Guides

Formed from pre-galvanised material having a minimum thickness of 2.5mm incorporating twin vertical brushes on both inner and outer face of the guide.  Brush carrier is constructed from PVC of medium impact strength, finished black and incorporating twin siliconised polyproplene weather strips, these running full height of the door guide.  Complete with continuous 100 x 65 galvanised fixing angle.

Operation

Each door is equipped with a fully automatic control panel to IP54 specifications featuring a variable self-closing delay facility and soft start motor control.  OPTO- electronic safety edge (soft/return to open) and infra red photo cell unit (stop/return to open) are standard.

Finishes

Shutter curtain finished in ARS white / goosewing grey to both faces, main support finished in merlin grey powder coat, head cover finished in HP200 merlin grey to BS EN 10147.
