Shutter Curtain 

Constructed from interlocking pre-galvanised scrolled steel lath. Each alternate lath being complete with pressed steel endlock riveted at either end. The curtain is complete with a pre-galvanised ‘T’ bottom rail.

Side Guides 

Cold rolled formed steel channels manufactured from 2mm gauge Z2. Pre-galvanised to BS2989, 1982, welded to 100mm x 65mm x 3mm galvanised support angles. Incorporating twin vertical brushes on both inner and outer faces to provide automatic interlocking/retaining when fitted with wind endlocks for performance under wind load. Complete with continuous 100 x 65 galvanised fixing angle.

Roller Barrel Unit 

Manufactured from seamless mild steel tube to BS4760 grade 50C, 168mm o/d. Gauge to suit door width and height. Maximum barrel deflection 1:400. Fitted with precision machined BDMS axles to BS970 EN33.

Bracket Plates 

Fabricated from mild steel plates complete with angle support brackets to BS4360/43A. Side and gauge dependent upon door size and weight incorporating support bearings.

Operation 

The door is arranged for an electric motor unit with a manual hoisting and lowering facility. The motor is complete with an in-built safety drive system. Complying with all current European safety standards. The motor features a pre-wired starter unit with pre-wired limits.
