Insulated roller shutter doors are manufactured to BS EN 13241-1:2003 Quality Standard. They are ideal for situations where energy conservation and protection against the elements, extreme noise or a high level of security are primary consideration.
The Insuflex meets today architectural demand for aesthetics, reliability, performance and safety in use. Designed to withstand Storm Force winds (50mph), there are uprated versions available which can accomadte even higher wind loads. Insuflex doors cut down energy waste due to heat loss through and round the door curtain. The sides are weather stripped with twin vertical brush seals on both faces of the curtain; and a rubber strip seals the bottom panel to the floor.
